Plant Medicine for Modern Health

What happens during a herbal medicine consultation…

The first appointment allows the luxury of time, to build our therapeutic relationship and gain a full view of your current health. Patients have time to discuss their presenting health imbalances, whether that is something acute or a long term feeling of “something’s not right". Herbal medicine is used to change the root cause of health problems rather than symptomatic treatment, this approach can create long term change and improvements in overall health.

Throughout the consultation we discuss previous medical history including your family’s health. We then talk about each of your body systems and assess any symptoms your are experiencing.

At this point, I will have a good understanding of your health and identified root causes.

Following the consultation, a care plan is written, lifestyle advice given along with some realistic nutritional support. If I feel that a herbal medicine prescription is required this will then be explained to you before being dispensed at my dispensary.

Herbal medicine can be a fantastic health journey, one in which you gain a greater understanding and a feeling of control of your own health. After the first consultation, a follow up appointment is booked for 4 weeks later to assess you progress.
